Democracy International (DI) is seeking to hire a Program Officer, Inclusion to provide programmatic support for the multi-year USAID-funded Protection, Inclusion, and Empowerment Activity in Armenia. Based in Yerevan, Armenia, the project supports local officials, civil society leaders, private sector actors, and marginalized groups in addressing legislative gaps, enhancing collaboration among local stakeholders in policymaking and implementation, increasing resources, and strengthening their responsiveness to unforeseen events. This will be a full-time position based in Yerevan, Armenia. This position is only open to Armenian citizens.
The Program Officer-Inclusion will support the Inclusion Program Manager and contribute to social inclusion programming (from a technical and management perspective). Under the program manager’s guidance, the program officer will support the day-to-day management of the project’s Social Inclusion interventions, plan priorities for the technical areas, and liaise with relevant partners and stakeholders. They will report to the Inclusion Specialist or Program Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Provide programmatic and logistical support for the program team, consultants, and other staff members in the areas of inclusion;
- Support the Inclusion Specialist to develop and implement program activities;
- Ensure program compliance with relevant USAID regulations and mission orders;
- Develop internal reports, annual work plans, quarterly, monthly, and weekly reports;
- Track project deliverables and activities;
- Support the Program Manager and Inclusion Specialist in planning, designing, implementing, monitoring, collecting data, and reporting day-to-day activities, including trainings, workshops, meetings, and other activities;
- Maintain sound relationships with counterparts in the field to ensure teams are adequately supported;
- Perform other similar responsibilities DI might request.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Master’s degree in international relations, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field;
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in the development sector, ideally in inclusion;
- Professional experience in project support and oversight, ideally in supporting USAID-funded programs;
- Applicants should be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet dynamic client deadlines;
- Knowledge and experience in research, politics, governance, and/or international development is desired;
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics, transparency, and accountability in program implementation;
- Ability to multi-task with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines;
- Very comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Fluency in English and excellent writing and communication skills are required.
